‘LUSHLAND’ is the debut album from R&B artist Silas Short, out on Stones Throw.
‘LUSHLAND’ is a late night drive through heartbreak, fear of failure and life in a brand new city. The album is filled with soulful songs rooted in 1980s and 90s R&B, informed by Silas’s years of playing in gospel bands with his father and an early education in hip-hop, funk and neo-soul.
‘LUSHLAND’ follows Silas’s 2021 debut EP ‘Drawing’, which was acclaimed by NPR, Wonderland, CLASH and The Line of Best Fit, among others.
Eye-catching and unique vinyl artwork by Matt de Jong. Players / producers on the album include James Poyser of The Roots, Luke Titus, Ryan James Carr and Charlie Coffeen. Silas has opened for the likes of Benny Sings, Blackwave, Mndsgn, The Walters, Zahara, Jitwam and Kaina, and plans to tour UK / EU by end of 2025. His cover of ‘My Conversation’ is included in the feature film ‘A Real Pain’ with Kieran Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg, out November 2024. RETURNING GOODS
If you decide to cancel your order, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. COST OF RECOVERY
In case the returned goods are not received within the specified conditions, we reserve the right to charge you for the direct costs incurred in recovering the goods.
REFUNDS
Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel the order, any payments made will be promptly refunded to you. You can expect the refund to be processed within 14 days of your cancellation.
